Listen for God
We never know when or how God will speak to us. He can communicate with us in ways we never could think of. Have you ever felt that God had punished you for something? I have. Not that He was being mean, but that His punishment turned back from a path i didn’t need to be on. He talks to us through scripture. How many times have we read a certain passage and something stood out. We had never understood it that way before. I also believe that God speaks to us through our thoughts. No matter which way God communicates to us, we have to give Him the opportunity. I like to have quiet time. It may be while I’m driving or laying in bed awake in the morning, Also I think it’s important to understand that radio, TV, cell phones, social media, etc. fill our minds with junk and we have no control over it. I’m not saying those things are bad, I’m saying we have to use them wisely. It takes valuable time away from God. He may have something to say! Are you listening?
